Steve Woolfe
Steve WoolfeI first became involved in radio whilst at Nottingham University – many many years ago - I wrote, delivered, recorded and presented a number of programmes for the “Student half hour” on Radio Nottingham.

I then hosted the evening program on Radio Free Sherwood – a somewhat unofficial station that broadcast across the University campus.

My career was revived when my daughter, Karin, expressed an interest in a career in the media, and I suggested that she became a volunteer for Hospital Radio.

In 2007, Joe Sambrook interviewed Karin and then asked me to join – especially as I was Karin’s chauffeur!

So I am part of the Thursday night team, and thoroughly enjoy visiting the wards, chatting to patients and encouraging them to call in to the show.
