Howard CopitchI’ve always loved radio from the age of 10 when my dad brought home a transistor radio. In 1964 came the advent of pirate radio, I love the format and I loved the music.

About 5 years ago when I was 50, I became the first guest on the 60's and 70's show on Radio Caroline and I knew that I would love to be a presenter!!

In 2005 I became a member of Northern Air Hospital Radio and after 6 months they let me present my first show.
My first high was last year when I entered the National Hospital Radio Awards in which I received a highly commended award in the category of Newcomer Of The Year. In February 2008 I was a guest on BBC Radio Manchester talking to Phil Wood about hospital radio.
